How often do you masque? by Megan

Are you coming in for regular in salon professional treatments but not taking the time to do at home treatments? You could be hindering your results!

The concept of DMK is to REMOVE, REBUILD, PROTECT and MAINTAIN. Here, in salon, we take care of the Remove and Rebuild phases and it’s up to you to Protect and Maintain your results at home with your personalised home prescriptives. Part of those home prescriptives are your at home exfoliations and masques. To help us help you achieve the results you want we recommend doing an at home exfoliation/masque once or twice a week in between your salon visits.

It is so simple to perform an amazing skin treatment right from the comfort of your own home. Performing these at home treatments will help accelerate and maintain your results that are achieved by your professional treatments.

One of our favourite at home treatments is DMKs very own at home enzyme mask – Foamy Lift and Exoderma Peel.

Foamy Lift and Exoderma Peel maintain and support optimal skin functioning between salon treatments and work to purify, strengthen, brighten and tone the skin. Similar to in salon Enzyme Therapy Masque, Foamy Lift and Exoderma Peel help to tighten skin, exfoliate and remove impurities within the skin, encourages your circulatory system to increase oxygenated blood flow through capillaries flushing and strengthening the skin.

How To

Step 1 – Cleanse with your preferred cleanser.

Step 2 – Mix equal amounts of Foamy Lift and Exoderma Peel in a bowl with fan brush, mix into a honey like consistency.

Step 3 – Apply from the base of your neck in upwards strokes up neck then in upwards and outwards strokes over your face and forehead.

Let set for 30-40 mins. Just like an in salon Enzyme, Foamy Lift and Exoderma Peel will set hard and tight, you may experience some warmth and redness but don’t be alarmed this is your circulatory and lymphatic systems working!

Step 4 – Remove. The best and easiest way to remove is to jump in the shower and rinse off. You may need to do a light cleanse to help remove any left over residue.

Step 5 – Apply your prescribed nourishing skin routine including drops, serums, oils and cremes.

At home enzyme kits are available in salon now! Kits come with Foamy Lift, Exoderma Peel and a FREE bowl and fan brush!
